It's Party on Via Margutta. The countdown to the switching on of the Christmas lights on December 10.

The atmosphere of Christmas with its lights, decorations, and festive air makes the streets of every city in the world enchanting. But there are some that become particularly charming during this period, one of them being Via Margutta, the most magical street in the Capital. 

The Board of Directors of the Associazione Internazionale di Via Margutta, composed of President Alberto Moncada, Grazia Marino, Avv. Pierluigi Mancuso, Tina Vannini, Laura Pepe, Fabrizio Russo and Hayleey Nielsen, has scheduled for the evening of December 10, the lighting of the Luminarie di Via Margutta Anno 2021, an exclusive event now in its seventh edition that will involve all the prestigious and historic businesses present on the "Via degli Artisti." 

Godmother and exceptional testimonials will be Monica Marangoni, journalist as well as anchorwoman of many RAI Uno and RAI Italia programs, and Pietro Genuardi among the best-known faces of Italian fiction and cinema, both of whom are particularly linked to Via Margutta, as Monica Marangoni in 2019 was among the protagonists of the 2019 Edition of the "Margutta Prize - La Via delle Arti," while Pietro Genuardi "marguttiano doc" lives and works professionally in Via Margutta, as a theater author and director.

Magical the effect of the luminous "spheres", harmoniously arranged all along the street, which go to form a unique and exclusive tunnel of lights. A "Christmas lightsproject" that comes to life thanks to the partnership established with the Banca del Fucino, the oldest private Roman bank, founded in 1923 In just under a century of history, the Banca del Fucino has established itself as one of the most important Roman banking realities, maintaining its physiognomy as a bank of the territory and its independence from the large banking groups that in recent decades have incorporated the other major banks of the Capital. 

 "We are happy to turn on the Christmas lights again this year in presence," says Alberto Moncada, president of the well-known artists' street, "it will be a beautiful moment to share with all the citizens and tourists who will be in town. A Christmas that we hope will augur well for a social, economic and interpersonal rebirth."

The lighting ceremony is scheduled at 7 p.m. at EMME on Via Margutta, 19 in the presence of Capitoline institutions, residents and referents of the various commercial and productive activities of the street. Following this, the toast of "Happy Holidays" will be proposed by Claudio and Tina Vannini at Margutta Veggy and foodin Via Margutta, 118 with prosecco Made in Italy and tastings of Christmas cakes by Angelo Colapicchioni, an artisan bakery known since 1934 for its Lazio specialties. The musical moment will be acura de La Semicroma del M° Antonio Nasca, in which it will be possible to savor the Christmas atmosphere with a choir that will present gospel and spirituals songs, while the central part will be dedicated to a swing trio that will entertain guests with a series of musical pieces from the international Christmas repertoire.
